Full ruby-red. Complex, soil-inflected aromas of cherry, redcurrant, mocha and herbs. Superconcentrated and thick, with strong acids giving shape to the wine. Has a distinctly flinty flavor. Superb slow-building finish features strong, slightly edgy tannins that will require six or seven years of patience. Very youthfully unevolved.
