Bright red-ruby. Pungently fruity aromas of raspberry, red cherry jam and balsamic spices. Rich, ripe and pure, offering balsamic dark cherry and aromatic herb flavors. Finishes with a cola-like note, delicately peppery, noble tannins and plenty of ripe fruit. This lovely Rosso di Montalcino offers more fruit and less herbs and spices than does this producer's Brunellos.
