The 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Village has quite a deep nose with yellow fruit, less malic than the preceding Saint-Aubin, just a hint of chai and fennel loitering in the wings. The palate is built around a keen line of acidity, tensile and steely, gaining weight towards the finish with a delineated and persistent finish. Excellent.
