The 2019 Beaune Les Teurons 1er Cru offers much more freshness on the nose compared to the Beaune Les Mariages, delivering black cherries and crushed strawberry; a subtle ferrous element emerges with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins. Well balanced and smooth, it turns a little animally toward the finish. Drink over the next 5–7 years.
