The 2022 Montagny 1er Cru has a straightforward but quite feisty bouquet (in a good way): persimmon fruit and hints of nectarine. The palate is well balanced with a creamy entry, quite pithy in style, with a tropical-tinged finish. Fine. Tasted at merchants' 2022 Burgundy tastings in London.
