From the bottom side of the commune, the 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Croix des Champs includes 55–60% of whole cluster. It has a clean, precise bouquet of perfumed red cherry and raspberry fruit, displaying commendable mineralité. The harmonious palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and brambly red fruit laced with white pepper toward the elegant finish. Promising.
