The 2023 Aloxe-Corton Village was picked just after the Grand Crus on September 9. The nose presents a mixture of red and black fruit as touches of violet petal come through with time. The palate has a sweet, licorice-tinged core of fruit, fine acidity and veins of dark chocolate toward the finish. Early-drinking.
